'EastEnders' is getting a major scheduling shake up as the soap will be move to a different channel during Wimbledon.

BBC bosses have confirmed the show will switch from its longtime home on BBC One to BBC Two once the tennis tournament kicks off on June 27 - but the days and times of the episodes will remain the same.

The show will air Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC Two while Wimbledon matches will be broadcast on BBC One.

It's set to be a big month in Walford as next week will feature the fall-out after Zack (James Farrar) spent the night with Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf).

He's racked with guilt over his antics and considers confessing to girlfriend Nancy (Maddy Hill), who has been on edge following her mum Linda's (Kellie Bright) car accident. However, Zack skips the opportunity to come clean at the last minute.

Next week's episodes will also show what happens when Nancy eventually finds out about Zack's naughty night.

Kathy decides to have a plaque put up in The Albert in memory of Tina and Zack suggests commemorating the occasion with a party - but it ends in disaster when Nancy learns what her boyfriend did behind her back.

She dumps Zack, who refuses to accept the relationship is over and gets down on one knee to propose instead - but will Nancy say yes?

There's also more drama surrounding Linda as she returns from the hospital following her terrifying drink-driving accident. She makes up with daughter Nancy, but the reconciliation is brief as Nancy finds a vodka bottle stashed by her mum.
