Sam, meanwhile, has failed to make any inroads with her family and so decides to leave Walford. But after getting the code for the safe from Kat in order to retrieve her passport, Sam receives a call from Zack to tell her that he’s found Lucas. So, Sam and Zack drive off to get him – with the gun from the safe inside Sam’s bag.
The following day, Phil is stunned when Sam reappears in the Square and reveals that Lewis is currently tied up in the boot of the car. With the firearm still in her possession, Sam tells a reluctant Phil that it’s time to take revenge and then drives him to warehouse. But what action will Phil end up taking?
More bad news for Ben
Ben wants to meet with Callum, who after receiving some encouragement from Jay, agrees to see his estranged husband. But it’s fair to say that the talk between the two guys doesn’t go well.
Events then take a further turn when Lola refuses to let Ben see Lexi until he seeks professonal help.
Stuart gets the sack
Emotions are running high for the Baker/Taylor family as the day of Avery’s funeral dawns. But Jay is left unimpressed when Stuart is late – and the day goes from bad to worse when the harassed Mr Highway upsets Mitch by forgetting certain details of the funeral. With the complaints about Stuart piling up, Jay is left with little option but to fire him.
Later in the week, Karen, Callum and Vi find Stuart packing his belongings. And when they ask him about his cancer diagnosis, he tells them he’s been given the all-clear – an admission that leaves them even more perturbed about his behaviour.
After getting him alone, Karen finally gets Stuart to open up and he reveals that Rainie never wants to see him again. Karen then attempts to make Stuart see that what he has is postnatal depression. And on Friday, she even accompanies him for his appointment when he ultimately agrees to see a GP.
Mick returns
Bad feeling persists at the Queen Vic, with Janine thwarting Linda’s Karaoke Night plans. But when Mick arrives back from his trip, she realises that he’s actually up for the entertainment.
Janine then manages to reinstate the party plan, but is left seething when Mick decides to join Linda for some impromptu singing.
Kim has a rethink
Howie has news for Kim: his son Denzel has to stay with him for a longer period than originally envisaged. But Kim isn’t initially best pleased about this latest development.
However, after a talk with Felix about the situation, Kim ultimately tells Howie that Denzel is welcome to stay.
Ravi pressures Suki
Following last week’s drama with Ranveer, we’ll see Ravi reminding Suki that she needs to carry on as normal.
But on Tuesday, Ravi is left annoyed when he discovers that the Minute Mart is closed when it ought to be open. Hence him giving Suki a reality check about the need not to arouse suspicion.
Later on, the two of them meet with Suki’s children at Walford East and tell them that they’ve bought the restaurant together. But how will the rest of the Panesars react?
