Next week on EastEnders: Shock death for the Taylors, plus killer Lucas has a secret (spoilers)
A tragic death for the Taylors, it’s date night for Lucas, plus Suki makes mischief.
It’s all your EastEnders spoilers for the 8-12 March, 2021.
Deadly dating
Not one but two notorious murderers are looking for love. Our two eligible killers, in case you’re wondering, are Lucas (who’s ex-wife Trina died in a grisly raking incident) and Bobby (who bludgeoned his sister Lucy with a music box).
They’ll both be seen entering the dating scene, with Lucas going under the name of his late son Jordan as he heads out for the night with Karen, while a lonely Bobby tries a dating app and gets matched with somebody called Jade.

But can Lucas keep his true identity under wraps and will Bobby’s decision to drench himself in aftershave pay off?
Out-Foxed
There’s way too much criminality on EastEnders at the moment. If it’s not Gray killing people, it’s the Panesars deciding to launder money alongside the Mitchells. Throw in this drugs-smuggling operation that the Fox family have become embroiled in and it’s now feeling as though nobody is doing a legit day’s work.
What we’ll witness next is Chelsea continuing to play her dad for a fool as she tearfully tells him that Caleb will kill her if the job goes wrong. Well, at least if that happens, we can finally move on from this tepid pre-watershed gangsterism.
Shock death for the Taylors
Those wanting a distraction from all the crime and killers in the neighbourhood get it in the form of some depressing pet death, with Bernie breaking the sad news to the rest of the Taylor clan next Friday that Bronson has had to be put down.
Now, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier may not have had as much screen time as past Walford pets such as, say, Wellard, but adorable Bailey is set to be left devastated by this tragic turn of events. She’s already in a fragile state, what with Mother’s Day being just around the corner. But the loss of Bronson is going to hit the youngster hard, with some love bombing by Karen and Mitch needed in the days ahead.
What with this and the recent death of Chantelle, you have to wonder just how much misery the Taylors can endure.
Jay v Billy
The startling age-gap romance between Jay and Honey gets an added layer of drama when a talent scout spots the potential in little Janet and offers her the chance to front a commercial.
The reaction to this opportunity is mixed, with Billy chuffed, Honey initially hesitant, and Jay vying to accompany Janet. But when Honey falls and hurts her back, a case of crossed wires results in neither of the two guys picking Janet up from the audition. And when Billy and Jay finally arrive at the venue, they find it empty. Just what has happened to her?
Suki ruins things for Peter?
I rather like Suki, if only for the fact that she’s unremittingly poisonous and seems to have a lump of coal where her heart ought to be.
Peter, for one, appears to be on his guard now that he’s getting closer to Ash. In fact, after Suki interrupts their flirting, he makes a hasty exit. Later on, Peter is seen asking Suki whether she’ll be a problem if he continues to show an interest in her daughter.
Come on Peter, she’s the Ernst Stavro Blofeld of the Square. Of course she’s going to be a problem!
