EastEnders Spoilers: Temptation, grief and opportunities - the week ahead in Walford

Suffice to say, last week was a pretty dramatic week in Walford.

Michelle Fowler’s illicit affair with 17-year-old Preston came to light, leading to her being disowned by her family before she crashed her car into the fish and chip shop.

As if that wasn’t enough, Sylvie Carter tragically died – leaving daughter Tina devastated.

This week is set to follow the aftermath of the two devastating events, and as ever, it’ll be far from a quiet affair…

Tina struggles to cope with the loss of her mother.

First of all, Tina will continue to struggle to come to terms with Sylvie’s death but eventually agrees to visit her sister Shirley in prison to break the tragic news, but how will Shirley react?

Thankfully, Tina soon learns that she isn’t alone in her grief and is touched by Whitney and Johnny’s help as funeral preparations get underway.

Will Lauren be tempted to cheat on Steven?

Meanwhile, Martin and Bex Fowler are still stunned by Michelle’s sordid secret – will Michelle’s brush with death help them forgive her for all of that Preston business? Or have relationships been ruined beyond repair?

Elsewhere, Lauren Branning decides to meet hunky photocopier Josh for dinner so that they can discuss a potential job opportunity, which she eventually decides to go for. However, her dad, Max, doesn’t seem to want her to be working in the same company as him and tries to persuade her to apply elsewhere but Lauren refuses to listen.

The hunt for Jay and Ben’s new housemate continues.

Finally, Jay and Ben Mitchell continue their hunt for some flatmates, with Abi Branning helping them interview prospective tenants whilst Kush Kazemi and Denise Fox prepare for a sponsored bike ride to raise money for the community fayre, but we have a feeling that not everything is going to go to plan.

We hope that you’re all ready for another busy week in Walford!
