EastEnders' Stacey to give Chelsea a warning in Ravi story

EastEnders spoilers follow.

Chelsea Fox will receive a warning from Stacey Slater as her romance with Ravi Gulati blossoms on EastEnders.

The BBC soap has recently seen Ravi, played by Aaron Thiara, getting closer to Zaraah Abrahams' Chelsea. While the two characters have an undeniable chemistry, Ravi's interest in the beautician is part of his plan to pressure Denise — with whom he had a brief fling unbeknownst to Chelsea — to give him access to Jack's files.

In upcoming scenes, the budding couple get closer, much to Denise's chagrin.

Ravi's son Nugget is asked to babysit baby Jordan so his dad and Chelsea can enjoy a romantic date. While Nugget skirts his responsibilities and brings Jordan to a party to be with his friends, Chelsea's night out doesn't go according to plan.

Upon seeing Chelsea and Ravi share a passionate kiss, Stacey feels compelled to speak up. She gives Chelsea "a more three dimensional view" of Ravi that catches her off guard, as Abraham told press including Digital Spy.

"Stacey just gives Chelsea an insight into her experience with Ravi," the soap star said. "She lets Chelsea know that Ravi had come onto her a couple of times, even though he knew Stacey was with Kheraat at the time; so she lends to the fact that he's not a good guy and he's got bad character traits."

Abrahams continued: "She accepts that this is what Chelsea might want to do but tries to warn her as she doesn't really know him yet. Kheraat also said that Ravi wasn't the greatest guy in the sense that everything is a game to him. She just gave her a bit of a more three dimensional view of Ravi."

As a result, Chelsea starts having second thoughts about her relationship with Ravi: "I think it caught her off guard and it made her feel as though she doesn't know him as well as she thought she did."

Will Stacey's warning be enough for Chelsea to call it quits?

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
