EastEnders star Lacey Turner announces pregnancy in sweet post
EastEnders star Lacey Turner has announced she is pregnant, confirming the news via social media.
The star, who plays Stacey Slater on the BBC soap, married Matt Kay back in 2017, with the pair welcoming a daughter, Dusty, in July 2019 and a son, Trilby, in February 2021.
In a new post on Instagram, Lacey confirmed that she and Matt were expecting another child. "Aren't we lucky ….. @thekayoskids," she captioned an image of the family on the beach holding photos of the ultrasound.

The comment section was met with messages of congratulations, with former co-star Shona McGarty writing: "NOOO WAY!!!!!!!!! Omg! I'm not crying i swear!! Congratulations you beautiful soul xx happy dance... All my love, Potato xxxxxxxxxx".
Patsy Palmer, who plays Bianca Jackson on the soap, also commented: "Congratulations beautiful girl & family. Yes you are very lucky and a wonderful mum so lucky them too... love you and can't wait for big hugs again soon."
"So special! Congratulations angel all of you!! Beautiful x" wrote Jacqueline Jossa, who plays Lauren Branning, whilst Louisa Lytton – who plays Ruby Allen – added: "Love you all so much."
Cheryl Fergison, who played Heather Trott on the soap, commented, "Amazing Lacy, beautiful family news," while Danny Dyer – who starred as Mick Carter – sent a pair of love heart emojis.

There were also messages from Diane Parish and Gurlaine Kaur Garcha, who play Denise Fox and Ash Panesar respectively, whilst Victoria Bye – the wife of Martin Fowler actor James Bye – wrote: "The best news… we can't wait to meet [the] baby. Love you guys."
Lacey recently confirmed that she will host a new soaps-themed podcast for the BBC called We Started Here.
She revealed that the podcast will see her speaking to "some incredibly talented people in the industry that also started their career on a soap" – playing Stacey in EastEnders was her first major TV role.
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
