Yahoo News EastEnders star Louisa Lytton announces her engagement
EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has announced her engagement to boyfriend Ben Bhanvra.
The couple got engaged during a holiday in the Maldives, and Louisa – who plays Ruby Allen on the BBC soap – told OK! magazine that she "started crying like a baby" when Ben proposed.
"My life has done a complete 180," she said. "If you told me five years ago I'd have a stable job working on a show I love and engaged, I would never have believed you.

"When I saw him on one knee, I started crying like a baby.
"I was so excited but my brain went into overdrive, and I started freaking out. I had no idea he was going to propose."
Louisa added that she and Ben are looking to marry in two years' time.

"We're hoping to get married in summer 2021 near York, which is where Ben is from," the star said. "We want to buy a house together before we're married, so we're hoping to get that done by the end of this year.
"I want at least two children and Ben wants three, so we'll have to get cracking pretty soon after the wedding!
"I can't wait to have babies. I'm very maternal, so it's been my dream for a long time to be a mum."
