Yahoo News EastEnders star says bullying plot will get even worse
EastEnders star Tilly Keeper has her say on the show's ongoing bullying plot, explaining why her character Louise Mitchell is so reluctant to stand up to nasty duo Madison and Alexandra.
Louise thinks she is friends with the two girls who have been making Bex Fowler's life a misery, unaware that they have started to switch their cruel intentions to her instead.
Speaking to Digital Spy about where the long-running plot is going go next Tilly said: "You'll have to wait and see.
"Lots of people have been saying: 'Why can't it end now? It's been going on too long', but bullying can go on for years and unfortunately that's the sad truth of it. It's going to get worse before it gets better."
She continued: "Louise is afraid of what other people think of her. She is too insecure to speak up through fear of being turned on herself. But she should have spoken up. What's the worst they can do?"
The video above also sees Tilly hint that there could be love on the horizon for Louise, as well as discuss her thoughts on a Louise and Keegan partnership. Now there is a slightly terrifying thought...
Tilly was speaking to Digital Spy to promote the show's British Soap Award nominations.
The 2017 ceremony takes place on Saturday, June 3 – but you'll have to hurry if you want to vote for your favourite soap stars as the polls close at 9pm tonight (Friday, May 26). Votes can be cast via the official British Soap Awards website.
