EastEnders' Suki Panesar to face dilemma in Keanu story

EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders' Suki Panesar is set to face a big dilemma next week amid Keanu Taylor's feud with her husband Nish and his son Ravi Gulati.

Earlier this week, Keanu was arrested after he was caught transporting drugs for Ravi to get some quick cash for Albie's christening.

Ravi was later suspicious when he saw Keanu at the Queen Vic, and although Keanu denied grassing him up in exchange for freedom (a deal he was actually offered), Ravi gave him a brutal beating and left him bleeding in the street.

At the hospital, an anxious Sharon guessed that Ravi was responsible for hurting her partner and threatened to call the police.

Tonight's episode (May 3) sees Ravi get taken away in handcuffs for attempted murder, but it doesn't look like Nish will be too happy about Sharon and Keanu getting his son nicked.

In scenes airing next week, Karen is shocked by the news of Keanu and Sharon's engagement as Keanu is aware that she doesn't approve of his and Sharon's relationship.

Meanwhile, Keanu turns down the idea of celebrating their engagement at the Vic because he's so worried about bumping into Nish and angering him.

Karen is terrified for her son's safety and begs Suki to get Nish to drop his vendetta against her son. But will Suki be able to find the courage to tell Nish to back off?

Previously discussing the storyline, Sharon actress Letitia Dean said that her character is "distraught" when Keanu ends up in hospital because "she's lost so many people in her life" and can't face the prospect of losing another one.

The soap star added: "The possibility that her happiness might be ripped away again is crushing and she absolutely breaks at the sight of an unconscious Keanu."

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
