EastEnders top 7 spoilers: Christmas and New Year arrives in Walford as 'hell breaks loose'
If you live in Walford, Christmas is a time for giving presents, spending time with family, overindulging, and ruining the lives of all your family members.
EastEnders is famed for very dramatic festivities, it was only last year The Six dominated when Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) was stabbed to death by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in The Queen Vic.
But this year will be no different as the BBC One soap teases Christmas Day and New Year, and some families will not be the same.
"Secrets and lies are set to throw a wrecking ball into the Beale family festivities this year as the shocking truth about Cindy is revealed in spectacular fashion in EastEnders on Christmas Day," the BBC confirmed.

Cindy is blackmailed
As fans will know, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) has been having an affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour), and the truth is set to be exposed.
After hiding their affair for months, things are set to get even more complicated for Cindy when she finds out that an incriminating recording detailing her affair with Junior has fallen into the wrong hands.
Worried her secret is about to be exposed, Cindy tries everything to make her blackmailer re-think their actions and concocts a plan that shocks her family.
As she fears for her future, George (Colin Salmon) invites the Beale's to The Vic for Christmas dinner, but Cindy soon receives more worrying news. Has Cindy done enough to convince her blackmailer to keep her secret?
Yolande's despair
Meanwhile, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) isn't in the festive mood as her abuser, Pastor Clayton's funeral falls on Christmas Eve.
She continues to shut out Patrick (Rudolph Walker) and Denise (Diane Parish) before having a tense exchange with Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie (Shane Richie) in the Laundrette.
When she arrives home, she feels guilty when Patrick points out that she forgot it’s the anniversary of his son Paul’s death.
Come Christmas Eve, Yolande makes amends with Patrick and heads to church to meet other victims on the day of Pastor Clayton's burial. Afterwards, having rediscovered her faith, she heads to the Community Centre to lend a hand.
Stacey's anguish
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is shocked when she discovers Martin Fowler (James Bye) and Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) are now living together. Martin tries to tell his ex-wife, Stacey, that there's nothing between them, but he ends up causing offence.
As the Slaters prepare for their Christmas lunch, Stacey is put out once more when Martin arrives, with Ruby in tow. Martin later returns from visiting his son in the hospital, but will Stacey confess her feelings?
As New Year's Eve arrives, Martin spends the evening with Ruby and Roman. But Stacey will soon need him in an hour, but Ruby is not far behind.
There is some joy in Walford...
Following her hard work on the calendar, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) and the market traders are shocked when the wrong product arrives.
Later, on Christmas Eve, the residents of Walford gather in the Square for the choir service to mark the most special time of the year.
But when Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) spots ex-husband Teddy (Roland Manookian) cosying up to Sharon (Letitia Dean), she's left feeling jealous.
A secret is revealed
When Christmas Day arrives, the Knights and the Beales gather for dinner in The Vic.
But the warming occasion is destroyed when Cindy and Junior's secret is revealed in spectacular fashion as the soap confirms that "hell breaks loose between the families".
The next day, tensions between the families continue as revelations and accusations about Cindy's affair continue to swirl. Will Cindy manage to worm her way out of this one?
Denise's 'love triangle'
Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) takes the chance to give Denise a present on Christmas Day. But he isn't her only visitor as Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) also arrives before the family heads to The Vic.
It’s clear Denise has feelings for Jack and Ravi and vice versa, but who will win her affection?
Suki and Eve's big day
Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) prepare for their big wedding day as the New Year approaches.
When the women gear up for their joint hen do, their celebration is cut short when the police arrive and confirm Nish (Navin Chowdhry) has been spotted after escaping prison.
Their bash soon gets back on track, and the brides-to-be are a vision of happiness, unaware that Nish is lurking in the shadows, threatening to ruin it all - will he succeed?
The next day, the Square comes out in full force on Suki and Eve’s wedding day, and the happy couple finally prepares to say, ‘I do. '
