You turned up in your droves to vote for your soap favourites in the Digital Spy Reader Awards 2020, and the results are finally in.
So, who are the big winners in Soaps this year?
Read the full rundown below.
Best Actor (Female)
Jessica Plummer, Shelley King and Jane Danson have all been put through their paces this year, with all three of their characters involved in gruelling storylines that gripped the nation.
Any one of them would have been a worthy winner, but your pick is Jessica Plummer for her performance as Chantelle Atkins.
Best Actor (Male)
EastEnders has also taken the gold medal in the Best Male Actor category, with Max Bowden scooping the top prize.
And Coronation Street is once again sitting pretty in second and third place, thanks to Ian Bartholomew and Jack P Shepherd.
Best Evening Soap
It was Hollyoaks which claimed the top spot back in 2019, but 2020 belongs to EastEnders. Coronation Street and Emmerdale ran each other close for second and third place, but the people of Walford are the clear victors this year.
Best Daytime Soap
For the third year in a row, Neighbours has been voted as your Best Daytime Soap. But the stars of Doctors should hold their heads high. There was just a smattering of votes between them, with the medical drama giving this year's champ a run for its money.
Most Devastating Death
We all watched in horror as the abuse inflicted on Chantelle by her husband Gray resulted in her death. Even people who didn't tune in religiously (or at all) to EastEnders took an interest in this story, so it's hardly surprising that Chantelle is the decisive winner in this category.
Both first and second place in the Best Storyline category were awarded to narratives that tackle domestic abuse, but it's Geoff and Yasmeen that get your vote. And while Hollyoaks hasn't made much of a splash at this year's awards, Kyle Kelly's tragic fate clearly had an impact on Digital Spy readers, taking the third spot.
After finishing in a very commendable third place in 2019, EastEnders' Ben and Callum, aka Ballum, have gone two better this year, taking the Best Couple crown, which also means yet another award in the bag for the BBC soap.
Emmerdale and Hollyoaks previously dominated this category, but it was EastEnders which took your breath away this year when Dennis was tragically killed after he drowned in the River Thames. Pierce and Silas gave it a good go, but it wasn't enough to claim the top spot.
Every year the soaps open their doors to a number of new faces, and it's Coronation Street's Jude Riordan who has made the biggest impression on Digital Spy readers in 2020. His performance as Sam Blakeman has earned him the title of Best Newcomer, and incredibly, he's only nine years old. The future is bright for this one.
