EastEnders 'panto villain' Aunt Babe returns in amusing fashion as Annette Badland reunites with co-star Danny-Boy Hatchard for Comic Relief.

Danny-Boy, known for his role as Lee Carter on the soap, will be performing I'm Still Standing by Elton John on the BBC's beloved fundraising extravaganza, which airs this year on March 24.

However, this fun sketch sees Annette try to put a stop to his impending performance – hoping to take his place instead. Aunt Babe would be proud!

What follows is all quite entertaining, but we won't give the game away and you can have a look for yourself by watching the clip above.

Aunt Babe bowed out of EastEnders earlier last month when the Carters finally grew tired of her scheming ways.

And Lee followed her out of Walford not long later when a trilogy of problems promoted him to realise that he needed a fresh start elsewhere.

EastEnders continues next Tuesday (March 14) at 7.30pm on BBC One.
