Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake Removed From Front Door in Florida
A large eastern diamondback rattlesnake was removed by animal control from a doorstep in Stuart, Florida.
Video by Patricia Kothe shows the venomous snake coiled on her door mat as animal control attempt to wrangle the animal inside a bucket using snake tongs.
Kothe told local media, WPBF25, that she was out walking her dog when a neighbour notified her that there was a “six foot long” rattlesnake at her front door.
WPBF25 reported that the animal was later released by animal control in a rattlesnake-friendly habitat a mile away from Kothe’s home. Credit: Patricia Kothe via Storyful
