Britain’s First Water Cocktail Bar Is Opening In London

Britain is about to get its first water cocktail bar.

Water lovers will be able to choose their favourite type of H2O at a venue inside swanky department store Selfridges on Oxford Street in London, according to a report in the Sunday Times.

Based on the premise of water bars in the U.S., the venue will offer a range of different water brands.

It will be situated in Selfridges’ accessory hall and special “water sommeliers” will be consulted over the bar’s menu.

Water expert Martin Riese said: “Water has a taste. Why not create a water menu?

“Like wine, one can actually taste the region and depth from which the water comes.”
