Ed Sheeran, who is currently in the midst of an American tour, recently announced UK and European dates for 2019, which will include Leeds and culminate in two homecoming shows at Chantry Park in Ipswich.

Which festival is Ed Sheeran headlining?

The 27-year-old will also lead the bill at next year’s edition of the Budapest festival, Sziget, which is attended by more than half a million people each year and has been named Europe's "Glastonbury". Sheeran will headline the first day of the six-day festival, which is set to run from August 7-13 2019.

Sziget has long been a prominent fixture of the European festival scene, with more than a quarter of a century’s history behind it. This year, it was headlined by Kendrick Lamar, Gorillaz, Arctic Monkeys and Lana Del Rey.
