Guess which famous actress Ed Sheeran wants to film a love scene with?

Ed Sheeran only has eyes for one woman should he ever get his kit off on screen.

The Shape Of You hitmaker confessed that if he were to ever film a ‘love scene’ – he would like it to be alongside none other than Dame Helen Mirren.

Revealing his soft spot for the critically acclaimed actress, Ed said: ‘I always loved Helen Mirren […] me and Helen could do a love scene.’

Quickly realising he’d just revealed his secret fantasy, Ed backtracked, telling ITV’s Lorraine: ‘I guess that sounds weird, doesn’t it?’

Despite admitting he is in talks for ‘a leading role’, he also suggested that his acting skills might put Mirren off getting up close and personal.

‘But I’m not really a good actor, and she’s a very good actress, so I don’t think she’d want to do it,’ he said.

Ed is due to headline Glastonbury Festival in Somerset on Sunday, finishing off a weekend of music.

And he teased that there will be some VIP guests in the audience for his set, saying: ‘Victoria and David [Beckham] are coming down’.

Meanwhile, Ed’s backstage rider for his Glastonbury slot was recently revealed – and it shows him to be a man of simple tastes.

The hitmaker has reportedly requested a bottle of Robinsons Squash, a six-pack of Coca-Cola, a six-pack of Diet Coke, a six-pack of Fanta Orange, a six-pack of Sprite and a jar of Manuka Honey.

The entire rider is said to cost a relatively modest £57.31, with the most expensive item being the Manuka Honey – which costs £13.99 for a jar.
