Ed Sheeran has denied rumours that he’s set to quit music following the global success of new album, Divide.

The British pop star, 26, has responded to speculation that he’s planning to leave the industry to lead a ‘normal’ life, rubbishing the claims on Monday.

Retweeting an article questioning his future, Sheeran simply wrote: “Das B*******.”

According to reports, Sheeran has already achieved ‘everything’ that he wants to in his career and is ready to take a break.

“Ed has pretty much achieved everything there is to achieve in music,” a source told The Sun.

“He absolutely loves what he does and is riding the wave of his success at the moment, but at the same time he wants a more normal life.

“When or if he gets married he wants to put his wife and kids first and not his career. If that means going AWOL for years then so be it.”

Sheeran has certainly had an eventful year, with his new album topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic.

He is set to headline Glastonbury in June and has just been announced as one of TIME’s Most Influential People.

A touching tribute, penned by Taylor Swift, read: “Whether by choice or an unconscious evolution, when he decided on his musical ambitions, Ed became less of a boy and more of a tank.

“He is protected by an impenetrable and ever-present armour of enthusiasm that has helped him endure any setback, let down or underestimation.”
