Ed Sheeran paid for a group of Liberian children to stay in a safe place after witnessing their way of living.
In a harrowing film released during Comic Relief on Friday, an emotional Ed told cameras it "really does not feel right leaving, at all".
He said: "My natural instinct is just to put them in a car and just take them, and just put them somewhere in the city, and put them in a hotel until we can get them sorted."
Overcome with emotion Sheeran continued: "Can we do that?
"Can I pay for them to stay in a house until we can get them in a school?
"It doesn't matter how much it is, like, we'll just get them in."
Sheeran appealed to viewers during the live show to donate saying: "It’s really important that you donate so we can get these kids off the street and into a school."
