Ed Sheeran surprised one of his fans with the ultimate dream come true this week.
The record-breaking recording artist treated 10-year-old Melody to a special gig at London's O2 Arena to mark their 'second date'.
Melody suffers from a rare condition called Rett syndrome and a host of other complications that meant doctors initially thought she would not live past the age of 4.
However, the incredibly brave girl has defied all odds and expectations, thanks to a little help from her favourite popstar – and 'boyfriend' – Ed, who serenaded Melody at her own private concert.
"Ed is playing a huge part in Melody's life," Melody's mother Karina told Digital Spy. "She keeps fighting because of him.
"I've got no doubt in my mind that she wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Ed. His music has helped her through numerous operations, constant pain and hospital stays.
"Ed said there will be more dates, but nothing is arranged as of yet. He is her guardian angel."
The duo first met in November, when Ed visited Melody in hospital before surgery, so it was only fitting for their second date to be somewhere more glamorous.
Not that Melody turned up empty-handed, as she bought the singer an adorable gift for the occasion.
And we mean: adorable.
"Melody has undergone more than 40 operations but still manages to smile every single day," Karina added.
"She has taught me to never give up and to always fight for what you believe in. She is a living miracle."
During the gig, Ed also signed Melody's cast, as she currently has a broken leg due to complications from her condition.
Of course, this isn't Ed's first incredible act of generosity.
He also made a terminally ill 6-year-old's dream come true when he met him last month, as can be seen in these heartwarming pictures.
