Ed Sheeran 'rushed to hospital' after being knocked from his bike
Ed Sheeran has been rushed to hospital after being knocked from his bike by a car whilst cycling in London.
The 26-year-old star was struck down earlier today, with Australian DJ Smallzy breaking the news on his Twitter page.
The incident reportedly happened this morning when Ed was cycling down a street in London.
Sharing a photo of his arm in a cast on Instagram, Ed wrote: “I’ve had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows.

The singer was quickly inundated with well-wishes from concerned fans, with one writing: “Hope nothing too serious. Wishing you a safe recovery.”
Ed is due to play a host of Asian tour dates in the next couple of weeks, but there is a chance his broken arm may leave him unable to perform – forcing him to cancel the shows.
Writing on Twitter earlier this morning, Smallzy said: “Hope what I’m hearing isn’t true. Sources in LDN @edsheeran telling me he’s been hit by a car while riding a bike.. Sending healing vibes.”
