Ed Sheeran Serenades Ronan Keating and Storm Uechtritz At Their Wedding!

Ronan Keating and Storm Uechtritz had a surprise special guest at their wedding reception on Monday.

The couple, who tied the knot at the beautiful Archerfield House in Scotland, were serenaded by none other than award-winning star Ed Sheeran.

The 24-year old reportedly took to the stage to perform a range of his own hits – and let’s face it, there’s so many of them that they could have made it a 2-day event (at the very least).

“Ed appeared out of nowhere, everyone was so surprised. He was such a nice guy,” a source reported to Irish entertainment website Goss.ie.

The Thinking Out Loud singer seems to be rubbing shoulders with Cupid as just last month he helped Jake Roche propose to Little Mixer Jesy Nelson (aww!) and allowed Kodaline’s Jay Boland to propose to his girlfriend Etaoin Corr on stage during his Croke Park gig (aww! x2).

In another SURPRISE appearance, Sheeran also recently performed at an Australian couple’s wedding, after hearing about their upcoming nuptials via a radio station and ringing up to offer his services, just to further confirm his title of “nicest guy in the industry”.

Can we please book him in advance for all of our future romantic occasions? Otherwise, we’re worried that he won’t fit us into his ever-growing schedule!

Goss.ie also revealed that Ed was later joined on stage by Ronan and his Boyzone band mates Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch.

*Happy sigh* This is one collaboration that we wish we had witnessed…

Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden made us envious of the star-studded guest list shared the news and the guest’s collective confusion on Twitter, writing: “Last night had the best jam ever. @BrianMcFaddden @edsheeran @ronanofficial @officialkeith Mikey Graham and @shanelynchlife madness.” Just in case you needed confirmation!

Ronan also turned his wedding into a platform to share some up and coming talent as new Irish boyband Lunar took to the stage. We just hope that everyone had his or her dancing shoes on!

However, if they didn’t, then guests could also take a series of snaps in the photo-booth or play a game of giant chess, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone style (minus the dramz).

The former Boyzone singer’s family and friends shared their tributes to the happy couple and their big day. His sister-in-law Valerie Keating wrote on Twitter (aka the modern day guestbook): “Such a happy day for our family. Incredibly emotional, we [love] @StormUechtritz so happy she is joining the Keating family today @ronanofficial (sic).”
