Ed Sheeran's unruly hair steals the show in fan pic failure

All eyes were on Ed Sheeran‘s hair after unfortunate timing and a gust of wind proved the making of a hilarious botched fan photo.

The record-breaking chart topper’s ginger locks took on a life of their own after he was cornered for a selfie with fan Talia Calandra.

Looking like he had just crawled out of bed, Ed struggled to crack a smile in the photo – which makes his unruly mane all the more laughable.

Standing on end, his locks flowed freely in the perfectly timed shot, which has already been noticed by over two million people on Twitter.

Sharing the moment with the world, Talia tweeted: ‘I met Ed Sheeran today and a gust of wind made my pic with him 10x more exciting.’

It seems the 26-year-old is the butt of most jokes lately as he also fell victim to the cheeky hashtag ‘Sheeranalbumparty.’

The social media LOLathon came after Radio 1’s Greg James wanted to honour the star’s record-breaking achievement with his new album Divide.

Of course, it was a cheeky nod to the famous Susan Boyle gaffe, which saw her PR’s attempts to promote her album backfire when #Susanalbumparty was used as a hashtag.

Luckily, Ed saw the funny side after Greg apologised for it trending, tweeting: ‘No worries, i tried to trend it with @JamesBlunt a week ago to no avail, you are my hero.’
