Ed Westwick accused of sexual assault by a third woman

A third woman has accused Ed Westwick of sexual assault, claiming he “aggressively groped” her.

Rachel Eck has claimed the former Gossip Girl star assaulted her in a Hollywood hotel the night before the 2014 Academy Awards.

She told BuzzFeed News she was invited to the hotel by her Australian film producer ex Kaine Harling who was there with his pal Ed, who “asked me to invite a friend to hang out with the three of us”.

Creative producer Rachel – who was a 23-year-old executive assistant at the time of the alleged incident – added: “When I didn’t bring a girl for him he turned his sights on me.”

She claims Ed – who has been accused of rape by Kristina Cohen and Aurélie Wynn, both allegations of which he “strenuously denies” – attempted to “kiss me or kind of push me up against the wall” when she was alone with him.

Rachel claims this happened a few times that night over a seven-hour period and “it got worse and he got more handsy”, despite her trying to “push off” the White Gold actor each time, and tell him she was dating Kaine.

Referring to her breasts, she said: “Ed then pulled me onto the bed and aggressively groped me. I shoved him off as quickly as I could and left.

“I have never felt so uncomfortable in a situation like that in my entire life.”

Last week, Ed vowed to clear his name after being accused of rape by Kristina and Aurélie.

In a statement posted on Twitter last week, he wrote: “It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct.

“I have absolutely not, and am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.”

Following the allegations, the BBC have pulled one of its upcoming main festive dramas, Agatha Christie Christmas special Ordeal By Innocence, which he was due to appear in.

The BBC said in a statement: “These are serious allegations which Ed Westwick has strenuously denied.

“The BBC is not making any judgement but until these matters are resolved we will not include Ordeal by Innocence in the schedules.”

What’s more, Ed is no longer shooting the second series of BBC comedy show White Gold.

The BBC added: “The independent production company making White Gold has informed us that Ed Westwick has paused from filming while he deals with these allegations.”
