Eddie Hearn maintains Anthony Joshua will “do a job” on Tyson Fury in what he has proclaimed to be “the biggest fight of all time”.

The world heavyweight champions are on a collision course after accumulating every belt in the division with the winner of the all-British encounter to be crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 2000.

After blitzing Kubrat Pulev, Hearn believes Joshua has focused solely on Fury, who was last seen in the ring in February 2020 when he dismantled the previously undefeated Deontay Wilder.

And while Hearn concedes Fury is a “fantastic fighter”, the promoter is adamant Joshua is laying the groundwork to beat his rival and emerge as the No 1 in the division.

“He would say that he’s tailoring his training for his career. He is training, sleeping, resting. I want to rein him in for a rest,” Hearn told Sky Sports.

“He is so focused. Although he’d tell you that he’s training just to improve as a fighter, I know that all he’s thinking about is Fury.

“He’s working on the plan to beat this guy and become undisputed. I love the work he’s doing, the improvements he’s making, the mind-set.

“He has the mind-set of a winner, of a champion. Fury is a fantastic fighter but AJ will do a job on him. The preparation starts now. Don’t think Fury isn’t doing the same. He knows. This may be the biggest fight of all time.”
