EDDIE Pepperell finished outside the top 40 at the Qatar Masters.
The 33-year-old finished on par during the first three days, before achieving two-under par in the final round.
He holed a birdie and a bogey each in the opening round, with four birdies and bogeys following the next day.
It was three each of birdies and bogeys in the third round, while four birdies and just a couple of bogeys ensured he finished two-under par on the final day, and tied for 42nd overall.
The tournament was won by Japan’s Rikuya Hoshino, who was 14-under par, and a shot ahead of French golfer Ugo Coussaud.
Frilford Heath member Pepperell is next in action from February 22, at the Kenya Open in Nairobi.
