Edinburgh A720 City Bypass 'multi-vehicle crash' triggers huge delays for drivers

Edinburgh motorists have been warned to use caution on the A720 following an alleged multi-vehicle collision.

Traffic Scotland cameras show blue lights flashing in the distance as emergency services respond to the alleged pile up.

The incident is understood to have taken place in the eastbound lane by Millerhill at around 5pm on Thursday November 22.

Unconfirmed reports claimed six vehicles were involved in the rush hour collision.

It is not yet known if motorists suffered any injuries as a result of the crash.

Posting on X, Traffic Scotland stated: "The A720 is restricted, eastbound, at Millerhill, due to a road traffic incident.

"Drivers should use caution on approach."
