Edinburgh bus stop wrecked as police rush to collision on busy street
An eye witness has shared the aftermath of a bus stop being completely destroyed on Slateford Road.
Police officers could be seen directing traffic round the scene of the incident which reportedly took place at around 10.30pm on Saturday, September 28.
A glass stop with a metal frame looked to be completely destroyed in the collision.

One bystander shared images with Edinburgh Live showing a damaged bus being repaired by an engineer close to the scene.
Workers could be seen attempting to clear the area of debris.

Pictures show glass strewn across the pavement opposite the BP Petrol Station in Slateford.
The front of a Lothian Bus was visibly damaged.
Around three officers and several repair workers in high-vis jackets were visible on site.
