An Edinburgh comedian has captured the feelings of many when they hear bagpipes.

Eleanor Morton posted a clip on TikTok where she initially says she "hates" the sound of the iconic Scottish instrument, before hearing them and becoming instantly emotional - something many Scots can relate to. Her followers were quick to agree, with one adding: "Always right to tears."

In the clip, Eleanor says: "Bagpipes? No I hate the sound of bagpipes. Sounds like a cat being hammered to death. No thank you."
