Edinburgh comedian has crowd in stitches over difference with Glasgow accent
An Edinburgh comedian took aim at his own accent in a hilarious clip.
Connor Burns, 29, said he had been "stuck with this s***e Edinburgh accent" as he compared it to a bow and arrow. He also branded it the "least intimidating" tone.
He posted a short clip from one of his sets to TikTok, captioning it: "I was slagging my accent way before you were!"

In the clip, he said: "I've been stuck with this s***e Edinburgh accent.
"It's the least intimidating accent ever. Glasgow, that's a f***ing intimidating accent right?

"The Glasgow accent is so good at being aggressive because it sounds like a gun. Edinburgh is terrible, because it sounds more like a bow and arrow."
Connor made headlines earlier this year after his gig at the Edinburgh Fringe was evacuated when someone "lit up a cigarette" in the toilets.

Connor Burns said at the time: “I was gutted to lose my sold-out Friday night show which for the three minutes I was on stage was the funniest crowd a comedian could possibly want to have.
"Happily, everyone is okay and even better - I can add another show on Saturday 17th right after my evening one, so hopefully most of the folks who missed out on Friday might be able to come along. I’d say there’ll be fireworks to celebrate but, well…. You know…. Hope to see you all back there. And if you can’t make it along, maybe on my tour later this year."
