Edinburgh drivers facing delays as police stop traffic at busy roundabout

Edinburgh drivers in the west of the city faced delays on Sunday evening.

Traffic was "backing up" in Corstorphine, as police were seen stopping motorists. An image from Drum Brae roundabout shows officers on motorbikes and a vehicle being towed.

Drivers were urged to "be careful" in the area.

One resident told Edinburgh Live: "Police motorbikes are stopping traffic at Drum Brae roundabout in Corstorphine.

"Traffic is backing up along Glasgow Road. A blue Audi looked like it was getting towed.

Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
