Edinburgh drivers warned after burst water main 'causing havoc'
Edinburgh motorists were warned of rush hour delays on Wednesday after a water main burst.
The main, on Newcraighall Road, burst at around 4pm. Locals were warned of traffic "havoc", with Scottish Water on the scene to resolve the issue.
Lothian Buses also warned of delays to services. Drivers were advised that it was "likely" the road would close to westbound traffic.

Edinburgh Travel News, operated by Edinburgh Council, posted to X: "Newcraighall Road. Scottish Water are dealing with a burst main between the A1 (N) off-slip and the McDonalds roundabout at Fort Kinnaird.
"It's likely the road will be closed to westbound traffic, we'll confirm ASAP.

"In the meantime, it's very slow through Fort Kinnaird car parks and *eastbound* on Newcraighall Road from Niddrie Mains Road to the A1."
On their website, Lothian Buses said: "Newcraighall Road affects services: 30 46 48 49 106.
"Due to traffic congestion buses are being delayed on Newcraighall Road."
