Edinburgh emergency services race to crash after pedestrian struck by car
A busy road has been closed to traffic in Edinburgh following a crash between a car and pedestrian.
Duddingston Crescent has been as emergency services raced down to the scene after receiving the call at 12.15pm on Friday, November 29.
Lothian Buses have diverted routes 'until further notice'. Services impacted are 5, 44, 113, and 124.

The bus operator's website said: "Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve part of Milton Road and are instead diverted via Duddingston Park South and the Jewel in both directions until further notice."
A Police Spokesperson said: "Duddingston Crescent in Edinburgh is closed between Hope Land and Magdalene Drive due to a road crash involving a car and a male pedestrian, which was reported at 12.15pm.
"Emergency services are in attendance.
"Please use an alternative route."
