Edinburgh fire crews called to quiet street after caravan bursts into flames at night
Hero Edinburgh firefighters were scrambled to a quiet residential street after a caravan burst into flames during the night.
Two fire appliances were mobilised to Stenhouse Crescent shortly after 12.30am on Friday, September 27, following reports of a caravan alight on the sleepy street.
Images uploaded to social media show several fire engines on the street shortly after the blaze was extinguished with firefighters seen spraying water towards the small white caravan parked at the side of the street.

It is unknown how the blaze was started, however there were no reports of injuries.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 00.35am on Friday, 27 September to reports of a caravan on fire in Edinburgh.

"Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the city's Stenhouse Crescent, where firefighters extinguished the fire before leaving the scene. There were no casualties."
