Edinburgh fire crews race to business park as thick smoke is seen for miles
An Edinburgh blaze saw fire crews race to the scene on Monday evening (September 23).
The incident was first reported at around 5.15 pm, with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatching crews to a business park in Granton. Images from the scene show a pile of tyres on fire as firefighters tackle the blaze.
It's understood that no injuries have been reported.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said they were aware of the incident and crews had been dispatched to the scene.

One local resident said: "Tyres set on fire in the land behind Lidl.
"Knocked out power for some now too. Fire brigade are on site."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 5.01pm on Monday, September 23 to reports of a fire in the open on West Granton Road, in Granton, Edinburgh.
"Operations Control initially mobilised one appliance to the scene before crews called for another appliance.
“On arrival firefighters found an electrical substation on fire alongside a large quantity of tires which were also well alight.
“Scottish Power attended to isolate the substation for crews to extinguish the fire. Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
