Edinburgh fire crews scramble to 'kitchen fire' as residential street blocked
Fire crews raced to a property on Monday evening after reports of a fire in a kitchen.
Three fire appliances rushed to Orwell Terrace in Fountain Park on Monday at around 5.40pm following reports of a fire in a property.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told Edinburgh Live fire crews were responding to a fire in an oven.

In images shared with Edinburgh Live, three fire appliances could be seen lining up Orwell Terrace, blocking the street from traffic as firefighters scrambled to extinguish the blaze.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were in attendance at a dwelling on Monday evening. We got a report of an oven fire at around 5.40pm. The fire was extinguished and the crew left the scene. Three appliances were mobilised."
It is currently unknown if there were any casualties.
