A new yoga studio with a difference is set to open in Edinburgh.

Hotpod Yoga will be opening its doors in Fountain Park under the direction of Edinburgh-born instructor Naomi Watson.

Regulated at a toasty 37 degrees, the inflatable pods form an immersive yoga environment that deepens the effects of a typical yoga class.

The warmth of the pod helps with flexibility, eases joints and muscles, and helps prevent injury. The heat also makes the heart and lungs work harder, which can help burn more calories and provide a cardio workout

The new studio in Edinburgh will mark the second Hotpod Yoga space in Scotland after it opened in Glasgow in 2018. Edinburgh instructor Naomi is also seeking a full-time franchise owner to become the latest member of the popular yoga business.

Launched in 2013, Hotpod Yoga has worked with world-leading inflatable experts, top architects and heating consultants to create patented pods which sit inside its permanent studios.

Max Henderson, Co-Founder and CEO of Hotpod Yoga said: “This is a really exciting moment for Hotpod Yoga.

“Naomi, given her local roots and deep experience as a yoga teacher, is the perfect person to launch our second studio in Scotland. We have had incredible success in Glasgow and we are confident that Edinburgh residents are going to fall in love with our unique yoga experience in the same way.

”Hotpod Yoga franchises are independent businesses, run by passionate individuals that are supported and empowered by the Hotpod Yoga brand and head office team.

“We are actively seeking budding entrepreneurs who might be looking to turn their passion for yoga into a career by buying into our proven brand to run the Edinburgh studio as their own business.”

Between November 21 and 24, locals are invited to try a complimentary class between November 21 and 24 with just a refundable deposit needed. To celebrate the launch, an introductory offer of 14 days unlimited yoga for £20 will be available.

A variety of classes will be available between 7am and 9pm, seven-days-a-week, catering for all experience levels on an ongoing basis.
