Edinburgh local brands alleged Taylor Swift fan 'unacceptable' for urinating in street

Edinburgh local slams 'completely unacceptable' Swiftie for allegedly urinating in his street ahead of the opening night of the UK Eras tour.

The resident, who does not wish to be named or to name his Roseburn street that is adjacent to Murrayfield Stadium, claimed that they had been assured that security would be in place at the top of their street ahead of the gig to ensure that this sort of behaviour did not happen.

But he claims this never materialised and the male was able to access the residential area and walk into a drive way area for a block of flats and urinate against a wall.

They also alleged that the man was challenged by a neighbour and was heard arguing with them.

As well as this, they say that there were young girls walking on the street at the time that he was urinating.

"I have reported it to security at Murrayfield," he said. "There was also meant to be a member of security assigned to the street but that never happened

"I don't have an issue [with the concert], but he was pissing in front of neighbours and young girls that were in the street... completely unacceptable.

"They need to supply more portaloos."

Tens of thousands of Swifties have descended on Murrayfield, with hundreds of die hard fans arriving in the early hours of Friday June 7 in order to be the first in line for the concert.

The American Sensation is set to perform on Friday June 7, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9.
