Edinburgh locals 'concerned' as fire crews race to quiet street

Edinburgh emergency services were on the scene of an incident, with fire crews racing to Bruntsfield.

The incident happened at around 7pm this evening, July 8. Crews were called to Montpellier Park, with two fire appliances seen.

Locals in the area said they were "concerned".

A worried resident told Edinburgh Live: "I’m not sure what was really going to be honest, I just finished my tea and went into my bedroom and saw two fire engines.

“They were up that ladder. I hope everyone is okay, we're quite concerned."

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
