Edinburgh Love Island star 'unrecognisable' as she opens new beauty salon in city
Fans of ITV dating show Love Island were left shocked as a former contestant appeared 'unrecognisable' as she opened her new salon in Edinburgh.
Belle Hassan, who starred on the show in 2019 at the age of 21, launched Belize Studios in Warriston. She left Love Island with gym owner Anton Danyluk though the pair split five weeks after leaving the villa, reports the Daily Record.
She then coupled up with another Scottish man, professional rugby union player Luke Crosbie from Edinburgh. Originally from Bromley, Belle made the move over the border last year to live with Luke.

The reality star has now made a new career move as a professional makeup artist, with her new salon now open. Belize will be offering hair and make-up looks for a whole range of clients, including bridal, as well as 1:1 lessons for those starting out in the industry.
However, that's not the only thing in Belle's life that's changed as it seems she is now going for a very different look these days with her septum piercing and box dyed hair.
Love Island fans will remember the influencer having long blonde locks during her stint on the ITV show with many no longer recognising her. Taking to TikTok with her questionable new hair do Belle pleaded with her followers as she said 'please don't judge me' while showing off her failed attempt at dying her hair 'cowboy copper'.
Belle, who is the daughter of actor Tamer Hassan, showed viewers the supermarket hair dye she had bought which had split her hair into three separate shades of ginger with blonde tones at the top.
She explained to her followers: "Please don't judge me, I know it's bad okay. So last night I bleached my hair. I purposely didn't film this whole process because if I came on to use my platform to show you how to do this, I feel like it's very irresponsible.
"I don't recommend you do it. I bought this from Tesco. I did a colour strand test and then I just whacked the whole thing over my head. I cried probably two or three times during the process and it was actually quite traumatising."

She added: "I know I said I would do this whole experience without the help of a hairdresser but last night I was in such a bad way. My body was shaking. I started crying I had to ring my friend Ellie. I mean genuinely I have never looked in worse nick."
Fans raced to the comments to express their shock as one wrote: "Oh my goodness you have changed into a different person in like 2 months." Another echoed: "Didn't recognise her so different from when in Love Island."
A third commented: "Oh god looks like my granny's hair" as a fourth savagely wrote: "What have u done?"
Belle then revealed she had just two hours to transform her hair into a cowboy copper shade before heading to boyfriend Luke's rugby game with only her hairdresser pal's guidance to go off of.
Thankfully, this time her transformation worked in her favour but she ended up with a 'dark cherry copper' result rather than her desired shade but insisted she was still happy with it as she showed off the final look to the camera.
Despite her initial fail, fans were impressed to see how she had turned it around with her new dark style with many complimenting her 'gorgeous' end look.

While dying her hair may not be her forte, makeup certainly is and Belle's brand new Edinburgh based make-up salon will open its doors on 17 Montagu Terrace in the Scottish capital today.
The 26-year-old took to her Instagram to show a final sneak peak of her new business as she wrote: "Screaming, crying, throwing up."
Showing what the upstairs and downstairs areas will look like, she admitted that the place still needs some work but urged fans to "make sure if you're in the area, please pop down and say hello. I will be in all day."
