Edinburgh man who changed name because it was 'too Christian' dies in prison
An Edinburgh man who changed his name by deed poll because it sounded 'too Christian' has died in prison.
Random Switch, 64, was formerly known as Clive Henshaw before changing his name. In 1997 the then 36-year-old appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court and admitted breach of the peace.
Switch wanted to remove himself from a baptism register before brawling with a church official as he was sent to a psychiatric hospital for treatment following his conviction.
