Edinburgh residents will see temperatures hit 11°C as cold snap comes to an end
Residents in Edinburgh and the Lothians have endured temperatures of around 1°C and below amid a cold snap in recent days.
According to the Met Office, the chilly air is expected to move on. By Monday, temperatures should reach 11°C.
Over the weekend, we can expect sunnier skies on Saturday - though still sitting at around 1°C. On Sunday, temperatures rise slightly hitting 6°C by late evening.

Into Monday and things begin to shift, and while we can expect heavy showers during the day - it's expected to hit 11C. This continues into Tuesday, and forecasters have even predicted some early morning sun.
By Wednesday, January 15, the Met Office has said residents can look forward to a balmy 12°C.

The Met Office said: "Dry, cold Saturday with a sharp overnight frost.
"Dry on Sunday and becoming less cold. Mainly dry and milder on Monday, occasional later in the southwest."
