Tickets for the Taylor Swift concert were a hot commodity with the official sale being snapped up in breakneck speed which left many Edinburgh residents devastated that they could not attend.

But with the weather holding out at the start of summer, quick thinking locals decided to whip out their picnic blankets and head down to Roseburn Park to listen to the first night of Swift's Eras Tour in Edinburgh on Friday, June 7.

Organisers had warned Swifties not to show up to the park claiming that they would not be able to hear the performance due to the positioning of the stage and speakers.
