Edinburgh road closed both ways after coach skids off route near beauty spot
A coach has skidded off a road as wintry conditions have triggered major disruption across Edinburgh.
In an image shared with Edinburgh Live, a private coach can be seen stuck on Harlow Road near the Pentland Hills.
According to a local the road has been shut in both ways as the roads continue to be covered in snow and ice.

He told Edinburgh Live: "Coach skidded off a road near the Pentlands. The road is closed both ways on Harlow Road between Balleny Farm and Harlaw farm."
This comes after Storm Bert triggered severe travel disruption across Edinburgh and Lothians. Lothian Buses have withdrawn all servies until further notice and the M8 and city bypass were blocked after motorists lost control in the snow.
Police Scotland have warned drivers to only travel if it's essential.
A Police Scotland spokesperson previously warned: "After the recent weather warning and continued cold weather into the weekend, please be careful when driving through Edinburgh. This mornings snow and ice has resulted in several minor traffic accidents across the City which our officers are currently dealing with.
"As a result there is considerable traffic disruption to Drum Brae/Clermiston area and at the Straiton juntion on Edinburgh City Bypass. As the snow continues, please consider whether travelling is necessary and if driving, please be careful."
