Edinburgh set for 'ultimate family Christmas' with elf school and teddy workshop

An Edinburgh adventure park has unveiled plans for their 'ultimate' family Christmas day out.

Conifox Adventure Park, by Kirkliston, has unveiled the lineup for the sixth year of their festive events. With "cheer for all ages", the experience will include an teddy workshop, a trip to elf school and a visit to Santa's living room.

You'll also have to keep eye out for Mr Grinch, who will be causing mischief throughout the park. The events are on selected dates from November 30 until December 24.

In Santa's living room, children can have a sit down with Father Christmas himself, pose for a family photo, and receive a gift. They'll also get a chance to decorate cookies with Mrs Claus, before checking their naughty or nice status.

Families then make their way through the event with characters like frosty the snowman and the nutcracker. As well as this there will be an elf school, where you can learn how to write a letter to Santa.

Tickets start at £5 for babies (0-12 months) and £22.70 for children.
