Edinburgh shopping centre brings in charges after LEZ commuters 'take over car park'
Parking charges are set to be introduced at the Westside Plaza in Wester Hailes.
The move has been taken after management at the shopping centre found spaces were disappearing after the controversial LEZ scheme was introduced to Edinburgh's city centre.
Those behind the move claim commuters are using their car park to leave their vehicles before taking public transport into the city for work and leisure.

The introduction of the parking charges will likely not impact those shopping at the centre or visiting the Odeon cinema as the first four hours are free.
For up to eight hours motorists will be charged £2.50 and up to 24 hours will be £3.50.

A spokesperson for the management at Westside Plaza, said: "Bringing in the parking charges has been down to LEZ.
"Our car park is being taken up by people leaving their cars here before getting a train or other public transport into Edinburgh's city centre.
