Edinburgh street transported back to 19th century as filming underway on period drama
Images have captured the moment an Edinburgh street was transported back in time to the 19th century during filming for an Apple TV production.
We previously reported how film crews began setting up on the city's Bellevue Crescent and Cornwallis Place last week with a retro carriage and filming equipment spotted in the area.
The show in question being filmed is understood to be period drama The Buccaneers, set in 1870s London and based on five "ambitious woman and daughters" who are invited to the city in the hopes of securing husbands and titles.

Local photographer Peter Fraser captured images of characters on set walking down Bellevue Crescent in retro attire while waving and smiling towards the cameras.
The male actors can be seen wearing vintage three-piece suits and top hats while a group of women were spotted in Victorian dresses.
Last week, a resident on East Claremont Street told us: "The crew said it's a period drama from Apple TV. They're at the church today and Drummond Place tomorrow. Looks like they're still setting up at the church.
"Something must be happening at the tennis court as well, they're covering all the fence with ivy."

Apple TV describes The Buccaneers on their site: "In the 1870s, the "Buccaneers" are five ambitious women and daughters of the American nouveau riche Nan and Jinny St. George, Conchita Closson, and Lizzy and Mabel Elmsworth.
"Following Conchita's wedding to Lord Richard Marable, the women are invited to London in the midst of debutante season in the hopes of securing husbands and titles. The women's eccentric and extroverted nature contrasts with English high society and centuries of tradition as they navigate cultural clashes and strict social codes while dealing with interpersonal relationships and potential suitors."
