Edinburgh tram services not able to access city centre after bus breaks down on line

Edinburgh trams have had to divert their services from the city centre for a substantial period of time after a bus broke down and blocked the line.

Taking to social media, the public transport provider shared on X that those using the trams would only be able to access services between Edinburgh Airport and the West End as well as Balfour Street and Newhaven.

The issue was first reported at around 4.10pm on Sunday, May 26.
