Edinburgh's Cameron Toll welcomes back 'put off' shoppers as roadworks lifted
Scottish Gas Network (SGN) began work on the roundabout at Cameron Toll at the end of August 2024 which sparked traffic chaos for those in the area.
The closure impacted traffic approaching Cameron Toll roundabout from Lady Road, Peffermill Road and Old Dalkeith Road.
But those affected by the lengthy disruption have welcomed the latest update from SGN who stated the traffic restrictions in the area would be lifted on Saturday November 9.

In a statement on social media, a spokesperson for the shopping centre said: "We’re really pleased to say that Scotia Gas Networks (SGN) have confirmed to us that the critical repairs to the gas network between Old Dalkeith Road, Lady Road, and Dalkeith Road have been successfully completed and that the road restrictions have been removed.
