Edmonton: Murder probe launched after boy, 16, knifed to death in north London

A murder probe has been launched after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in a residential north London street on Sunday night.Police were called to the stabbing in Kendal Gardens in Edmonton just before 11.30pm. A crime scene remained in place on Monday morning.The victim was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of medics who were called to the stabbing.The boy’s family have been informed, said detectives, and no arrests have yet been made. Formal identification and a post-mortem are set to take place later.
