Edmonton stabbing: Man dies in north London knife attack

A 29-year-old man has been stabbed to death in north London.

Scotland Yard said officers found the man with serious injuries in Houndsfield Road, Edmonton, shortly after 8.10pm on Saturday.

The London Ambulance Service was also called to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead just after 9pm.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being held in custody.

The Met said it is working to establish the circumstances of the death and inform the victim's next of kin.

In a separate incident, a 16-year-old boy was arrested after another teenager was knifed in east London.

Man dies following fight in London chicken shop

Hackney Police said a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the area of Dalston Lane.

His condition is understood to be non life-threatening.

A further crime scene is currently in place in the Clarence Road area of Hackney, where a knife was found.
